Are you ready to find a job?

Is your resume ready to respresent you for the job you want?
The first thing you want to do is get a well written resume if you don't have one. I had a resume on file when I began my search. It was sent to many companies before I realized that it had errors on it. Doh!

A cover letter is the first thing an employer will look at. This gives you an opportunity to showcase how you will benefit the company you are applying for. Personalizing each cover letter for the business you are sending it to shows the employer that you are professional and interested in the position at that specific company.

There are many websites you can find by using a google search or even using tools at job searching websites to create an eye catching resume and cover letter. You could also ask a friend or family member if they could help you.

As well as having a resume ready you should have the phone numbers you will need when applying for jobs. You may need personal references and past employers phone numbers. These things are usually not listed on resume but will save you time in your job search if you have them ready. Make sure your personal references know that you will be using them as references so that they can be prepared.

Now that you are ready to get your name out there it is time to find that job and fast!
